My Experience With Cass Creek Nomad Predator Call
As I said above, I wanted to do an experiment by using one of the cheapest game calls, and here I will try to tell how it went.
When I opened the box and took the main unit in my hand, it felt so lightweight, compact, and looked like a walkie-talkie to me. The remote controller of the Cass Creek Nomad Predator Call is also looked like same in shape.
The most amazing feature I felt about the Cass Creek Nomad Predator Call and which attracted me the most is the Traveling (“moving”) sound. This feature creates an illusion that the “prey” is making a noise and moving which feels very natural and legit. This illusion creates more curiosity among the predators and they come in front to attack. I have seen this feature in high-end game calls, I was very surprised to see Cass Creek Nomad Predator call having this feature.
While keeping the price tag in mind, the Cass Creek Nomad Predator call provides only 5 sounds of the different animals, these 5 animal sounds are highly used in the hunting game. It’s better to have too few animal sounds which are widely used in the field than having a bunch of animal sounds which we don’t use often. The following calls come along with the main unit:
- Jack Rabbit
- Pup Yips
- Fawn Distress
- Coyote Howl
- Cottontail Rabbit
These sounds are highly used in the hunting field. So, it’s better to have few most used calls than a bunch of useless animal sounds.
I never thought that I will get a remote controller for a gaming call in this price range, but surprisingly, the Cass Creek Nomad Predator call comes with an ergonomic remote controller. You can control the whole main unit from a distance of 100 yards, if you feel that this remote range is low then you can increase the remote range from 100 yards using one more receiver in series. The buttons of every function are right on the remote controller.
