There is a $400 price tag on this model, but it has a lot of features that we didn’t expect. Most of those features should be found in a model that costs a lot more than this one.
The FOXPRO electronic game call doesn’t let you down again. It blows your expectations for a programmable electronic game call out of the water.
Most important things about the CS24C
When you look at the technology and features FOXPRO used to make this caller, you will know that they are serious about their work. Another top-of-the-line e-caller that changes how hunters think about these tools.
FOXPRO has managed to put the e-caller on every predator hunter’s “must have” list, so it’s a must for them. This is why:
You can get the FOXPRO CS24C for a good price, but why?
Among electronic callers, the FOXPRO CS24C is one that has a lot of good options for people who want to call.
The CS24C adds even more features to the original CS24B. It has FOXDATA, FOXMOTION, FOXCAST, FOXBANG, and a lot more.
As far as we can tell, this isn’t the cheapest one we’ve seen. But if you think about what this has to offer, it’s a good deal. Over the long run, you’ll be getting a high-quality e-caller for a good price, that’s for sure.
FOXPRO CS24C American Made Electronic Predator Call
Design and features that can be used in many different ways
If you want to spread the sound out over 180 degrees, the CS24C has a megaphone-like design that does that. This is great if you want to cover a lot of ground.
A durable metal handle comes with the unit itself, and it can be used to put your caller at a certain angle, carry it, or put it on a high stand, a high car, or pretty much anything else you want.
Rugged, durable, and easy to move.
The CS24C is made of the well-known ABS composite material from FOXPRO, which is very strong and durable. So you can be sure that it will last for a long time.
All the parts inside have been made in America, too. That’s a good thing, isn’t it?
If you look at the dimensions of the CS24C, it is about 9 inches wide by 6 inches long by 5 inches tall. That doesn’t mean that it’s not very lightweight or small. It’s also very easy to move around, so we can say it’s lightweight and small.
Backs up our claim that it is easy to move and pack. It weighs only 3.9 pounds.
There are two ways to connect to the CS24C:
Like other high-end FOXPRO game callers, the CS24C has a remote transmitter that is very well-known. This transmitter is called the TX1000.
You can’t get any better than this for hunting predators with a FOXPRO caller, every hunter who has used one says.
With the TX1000, you can use the remote to turn the TV on and off, select and scroll through the channels, play and pause, mute, and adjust the volume. It also has a huge LCD screen that shows you all the information you need. You will always know how much battery power the phone has, how long it has been on standby, the temperature, the moon phase, and more.
In addition, the remote comes with 4 buttons on the top left and right sides that can be used to set up your favourite shows and movies. These buttons let you set up your favourite sequences and calls, and they make it easy to find sounds that work best for your hunting style.
We are happy to say that you can use the remote up to 100 yards away from the caller.
However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t use it even more. It all depends on where you are and how many trees or bushes there are around you, and how far away you are from them.
People who are on higher ground or on stands can usually set the caller 200 yards away and still use it from afar.
We also want to say that FOXPRO really thinks about everything, which is why we say that. When you go hunting, you don’t want to forget or lose your remote. That’s why they put a big lanyard loop on the bottom of the remote.
In programming, calls are set up.
The FOXPRO CS24C, like practically all the models that come from this company, is a programmable electronic caller. When it comes to storage, it can hold up to 1000 sounds on its 8GB internal storage.
When you buy FOXPRO, you’ll get 100 free sounds to get you started. Then you’ll have room for 900 more sounds of your own choice.
To add new sounds to its internal memory, you will have to utilise the provided small USB cable to connect the machine to your PC.
Another thing that users don’t like is that the mini USB 2.0 port is inside of the speaker cover. There are three screws that hold the back of the speaker’s cap in place. You’ll need to remove them to get to the USB port. The fact that you can’t add or change your calls might make you angry.
If you want to hear some new sounds, MFK calls work with FOXPRO programmable callers that can be changed. FXP, 24B, MP3, or WAV files can also be added if you have other sources of sounds.
If you like to lure your prey in close with a decoy, the CS24C comes with an auxiliary jack so you can add a decoy. Point to remember, though, is that it must be a FOXPRO decoy. If you don’t have one, you’ll have to buy one.
For the CS24C to work, you need 13 AA batteries. 10 will go in the caller unit, and 3 will go in the remote, but they’re not the same.
CS24C is a powerful programmable caller, and it has a lot of battery power.
This is the main difference between the CS24C and other callers. Instead of securing the batteries inside the caller, on this model they are stored in a pack that is attached to the side of the caller.
While some coyote hunters may be unconcerned with this disparity, it may absolutely deter others from purchasing.
In terms of the battery life, the best you’ll get out of them is about 7 hours, depending on how you use them of course (volume level, the weather conditions, and using just the main speaker or adding an additional one).
Getting to the hunting grounds and realising your batteries are dead is the worst thing you’ll ever have to deal with, agree?
If you want to use a FOXPRO caller, we always suggest getting a rechargeable lithium battery pack or buying high capacity rechargeable NiMH (nickel metal hydride) batteries that can be charged.
This is the second time FOXPRO has shown how confident they are in the products they make by giving them a warranty policy. It’s clear to them that their materials and technology are better than anything else on the market.
Most of the e-callers this company makes come with a long-term warranty, but not all of them. The CS24C comes with a 5-year warranty, just like their other top-of-the-line cars.
FOXPRO materials are said to be legendary by coyote hunters who have been hunting for a long time.
Because of this, you can buy the CS24C with full confidence that it will last a long time.
On the FOXPRO CS24C:
In your “I must have it” list, the FOXPRO CS24C should be there. It has all the features you want and it’s cheap enough that you don’t mind the price.
If you want to, go for it. It will serve you well for years to come. Indeed, this may be the only electronic caller you ever need to purchase.
