My 4 Month Experience With FOXPRO Wildfire 2
I know FOXPRO makes some pretty good e call devices in market. I have used its one of the device named FOXPRO Inferno which performed pretty good so I decided to give FOXPRO Wildfire 2 a shot, here what I think about it.
When I opened the box, I got the main unit itself (FOXPRO Wildfire 2 game call) with its TX-9 remote control, a 3.5mm stereo patch cable, and a warranty card with some manual paper stuff.
Frankly saying, I didn’t even take a look at the manuals, the device, and the remote control was so simple made that it just works. All I had to do is just insert batteries and it was ready for action with 35 preinstalled sound.
Yeah, I got 35 different pre-installed animal sound which was great and you know what is greater, I can increase this number to 200 by just using the micro SD card in the laptop or computer.
FOXPRO Wildfire 2 comes with enhanced volume capabilities. It is lightweight easy to operate and portable with the help of the handle on it.
The body is quite durable because it is made up of a rugged ABS injected molded body. It makes the body of FOXPRO Wildfire 2 more strong and durable.
At the bottom, I saw a tripod mount, this feature is really helpful for me because sometimes where I hunt, the surface is not flat. With the help of a tripod mount, it is easy to operate the main unit and the sounds cover a larger area.
FOXPRO Wildfire 2 features a single high quality horn speaker at front of the body with enhanced volume. There are also 2 ports for the external speaker and for a decoy.
With the help of the low battery pilot feature, I keep getting an update on my battery usage like it to start blinking when my batteries start to get low. I really like that. By battery, I just remember that I’ll recommend you guys to use Alkaline batteries to get the best of the FOXPRO Wildfire 2. Alkaline batteries can easily give you a run time of 20 to 24 hours.
While reading the manual and on the internet, I noticed that not only mp3 but this device is capable of playing an animal sound available in WAV or FOPRO’s proprietary FXP format.

This beast is packed in rugged ABS injected molded body which has so much potential that it can be your hunter body for a long interval of time.
All the operation functions like Ports, Switches, Light Indicators are placed at one side of the main unit which makes it very easy to use. There is also a holding handle at the above of the main unit for lifting the FOXPRO Wildfire 2 device.
